How does the BigEye Lens work?
The BigEye Lens is a patented wide angle lens which makes use of air as an optical element to perform light diffraction, thereby restoring the original wide angle characteristics of the camera lens, as they are on land. Once a camera is submerged in water inside its housing and without a BigEye Lens installed on the housing lens port, the angle of the lens narrows down by 33% due to the unique optic characteristics of water.
